Totally special

Tussen kerst en oud en nieuw heb ik lekker tijd om een kaart te maken! Deze keer heb ik de sketch van Papertake gebruikt. De kleuren zijn voornamelijk lemon en lime en dat is de uitdaging van Colour create.
Bijna nieuwjaar! Ik ga zo naar mijn zus Leonie om het te vieren.
Ik wens jullie allemaal een goed uiteinde en de best wensen voor het nieuwe jaar!


Since it's the Holidays, I have some time to make a card. This time I used the sketch from Papertake. The colors are mainly lemon and lime which is the challenge at Colour create.
Well the new year is just a few hours away. I'm getting ready and will be spending the evening at my sisters (Leonie).

New Year

De kerstkaarten zijn gemaakt en de deur uit. Ik heb nog wel foto's gemaakt maar die zijn allemaal erg lelijk geworden.
Maar ik heb een nieuwe kaart gemaakt. Een gelukkig nieuwjaars kaart! Tilda wacht tot de klok slaat. Gelukkig nieuwjaar is het thema van Everybody Art Challenge en
Winter Wonderland. Bij Daring Cardmakers is het thema: new beginnings. Ik heb de sketch van Just Magnolia gebruikt.


Well all the Christmas cards have been made.... and mailed. I did take some pictures but they turned out bad. So no pictures from those cards.
But I did make a new card I wanted to show you all.
A happy new year card! This Tilda is just waiting for the clock to strike.
The newyear theme is the challenge at Everybody Art Challenge and
Winter Wonderland. The theme on Daring Cardmakers is new beginnings. I used the sketch from Just Magnolia.

I'm here

Ik ben er nog wel hoor en maak ook nog steeds kaarten. Maar tijdens de verhuizing heb ik blijkbaar dingen weggestopt en kan ik dus nu bijvoorbeeld het kabeltje van de camera niet vinden die dan in de computer moet. Ik heb wel kaarten gemaakt maar kan ze dus niet laten zien..... Zo irri maar ik blijf zoeken.


I'm still here and making cards. Unfortunately during my move into my new house I misplaced stuff. So I can't find the cable to connect my camera to the computer. I've already got some new cards but no way to show them to you...... I'll keep looking.

White Baby Card

Helemaal wit moest de kaart zijn van Colour Create Challenge. Dus ik dacht gelijk aan een baby kaartje. Ik heb wit vellum geembossed met swiss dots. De letter is van Maya Road en daar heb ik lekker veel glitter op gedaan wat ook de uitdaging is van Simon Says Stamp challenge blog.


An all white card was the challenge at Colour Create Challenge. So I thought: Baby card! I used white vellum and embossed it with Swiss Dots. The letter is from Maya Road and I put lots of sparkling glitter on it which is the challenge at Simon Says Stamp challenge blog.

Noel

Mijn allereerste kerstkaart van dit jaar! Ik heb al (een hele lange) tijd geleden besloten dat ik al mijn kaarten ga maken met de Inkadinkado Christmas silhouettes stempels. Ik ga wel verschillende kaarten maken. De sketch is van de Simon Says Stamp challenge blog. Ik heb deze kaart al een paar dagen geleden gemaakt maar kwam er niet aan toe om hem te posten en nu hebben ze al een nieuwe challenge... Verder heb ik bling gebruikt en dat is de uitdaging van Stamp Something.

Got a fish?

Ja een nieuwe kaart! Ik ben net een paar dagen over in mijn nieuwe huis maar moet nog steeds mijn hobby/werkkamer klaarmaken. Dus moet ik nog steeds naar mijn zus om een kaart te maken. Ik heb mijn nieuwe Anya stempel gebruikt die ik op de StampMekka gekocht had. De uitdaging van Anyone for Anya is om een herfstkaart te maken. Dus heb ik mijn nieuwe Cosmo Cricket papier gebruikt en de paddestoelen erop geplakt. De sketch is van Friday Sketchers


Yep another card! I moved into my new place a couple of days ago but I still have to finish my craftroom/office. So I'm still making cards at my sisters...
For this card I used my brand new Anya stamp I got at StampMekka. The challenge at Anyone for Anya is to make a fall card. So I used my new Cosmo Cricket paper and even put mushrooms on it! The sketch is from Friday Sketchers.

Yummy

Eindelijk het is gelukt! Ik heb een kaart gemaakt!
Over drie weken moet ik verhuizen en ik moet nog zoveel doen. Ik kan gewoon weg geen tijd vinden om iets leuks te doen. Ik heb zelfs nog geen leuke spulletjes gebruikt die ik op de StempelMekka heb gekocht...Maar nu het 's avonds zo snel donker is en ik dan niet meer kan schilderen heb ik toch een uurtje gevonden om een kaart te maken.
Ik heb heel veel nieuwe dingen gebruikt zoals de nieuwe Tilda en de bijpassende papieren.
De sketch is vanFriday Sketchers en de kleurencombinatie is de uitdaging van Just Magnolia.


Finally! I made it! I managed to make a card!
In three weeks I will have to move and there is still so much work to do. I simply can't find any time to do something fun. So I still haven't used any of the great stuff I bought at StampMekka last time. But since there is hardly any daylight in the evening to do any painting in my new house I found a spare hour so here it is my card!
I used all my new stuff. Like the new Tilda and matching paper! Yummy!!

Sugar

Ik ben bezig met een complete verbouwing van mijn nieuwe huis en dat is toch iets meer werk dan ik van te voren had verwacht. Ik heb al mijn knutsel spullen al naar Leonie gebracht (en die vindt twee keer zoveel spullen helemaaaaaal niet erg) maar daardoor is het wel nog moeilijker om een kaart te maken. Gelukkig heeft ze ook twee nieuwe tafels gekocht voor haar knutselkamer dus genoeg ruimte om samen te werken!
De sketch die ik gebruikt heb is van The Sugar Bowl. De extra uitdaging is om zelfgemaakte bloemen te gebruiken, ik heb die van mij met de pons gemaakt. Je kunt nu echt prachtige herfst stempels winnen.... Het lint is een rare kleur op de foto maar in het echt past het er wel bij.


I'm in the middle of renovating my new home and it is taking a little more effort and time than I expected. Since I have all my craft stuff moved over to Leonie (yes she is happy with twice the amount of craft suplies...) my chances of making a card are getting harder. But Leonie also bought two new tables so now there is more than enough room for us to make cards in her craftroom!
The sketch is from The Sugar Bowl. The extra challenge is to make your own flowers. For that I used my flower punch. This time you can win the most amazing new fall stamps.... I used the Score Board to make a score in the flower leaves so they would pop up a little. The ribbon turned out a different colour in the picture, it fits better in real life...

Wedding

Het is echt alleen maar babies en trouwerijen! Vrijdag gaat mijn nichtje trouwen. Ik heb deze kaart met de sketch van Secret Crafter gemaakt. Ik heb ook nog een doosje gemaakt in dezelfde stijl. Daar gaan dan wat hart snoep in.


It's a time of babys and weddings! This friday there is another wedding I have to go to. I made this card using the sketch from Secret Crafter. I also made a little box in the same style. I want to put some heart shaped candy in it. I'll try to take a picture of that soon.

Babygirl

En weer een babykaartje. De baby is nog niet geboren maar ik weet al wel dat het een meisje gaat worden. Voor deze kaart heb ik de sketch van Friday Sketchers gebruikt. Ik heb eens wat geprobeert met het lint. Het viel niet mee maar ik vind het wel leuk geworden! Ook weer veel bloemen voor de Whiff of Joy Challenges.


I made another babycard. The baby hasn't been born yet but I know it will be a girl. For this card I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers. I tried something different with the ribbon this time. It wasn't easy and my sowing skills where tested but I like the result. And again I used lots of flowers which is still the challenge Whiff of Joy Challenges.

Wedding

Mijn lieve vriendin Anouk gaat trouwen! Ik hoop dat het weer dan beter is dan nu... Anouk is als kind geemigreerd naar Canada en heeft nog steeds dat engels accent... Maar ze is zo lief dat ik haar dat maar vergeef ;)
Ik ben helemaal bezig met het verbouwen van mijn nieuwe huis. Het ondergaat een totale metamorfose. Het is even volhouden maar het wordt vast helemaal geweldig.
Omdat ik het zo druk heb, heb ik de kaart dus nu maar al gemaakt. De sketch is van Friday Sketchers. Ik heb een hartpin gebruikt en harten zijn de uitdaging van A Spoonfull Of Sugar.


My dear friend Anouk is getting married in a few weeks. I hope the weather will be a lot better than it is at this moment. Her parents moved to Canada when she was a little girl so she grew up there. Even though she is Dutch and has lived her for about 5 years now she still has her accent. But she is so sweet, I forgive her for that.
Well I'm totaly in construction right now. My new house is undergoing a total transformation but I know it will be great!
Because I don't have a lot of time now I decided to make the card in advance.

Celebration!

Mijn zusje heeft haar HBO diploma gehaald en ik heb dus een kaartje nodig! Ik vind deze Tilda echt geschikt als je iets te vieren hebt. Ik heb de sketch van Friday Sketchers gebruikt. De uitdaging van ABC Challenge is om een kaart te maken met twee kleuren. Dat valt nog niet mee! Stamp Something wil dat we drie embellishments gebruiken. Ik heb ervoor gekozen om drie knoopjes te doen.


My sister got her bachelor degree and so I needed another card. I think this Tilda is perfect for a celebration! I used the Friday Sketchers sketch for it. The challenge at ABC Challenge is to make a two tone card. That is pretty hard for me but I'm happy with the result. Stamp Something challenges us to use 3 embellishments. I choose to use three of the same buttons on this card.

Birthday

Voor deze kaart heb ik een Bildmalarna gebruikt (van mijn moeder. De sketch is van Friday Sketchers. Ik vind hem erg leuk omdat ie zo simpel is. De uitdaging van ABC Challenge is om een zomerse kaart te maken. Detail is dat ik deze foto genomen in de prachtige avondzon.

Ik wil ook nog even zeggen dat woensdag de 24e de verjaardag is van mijn zus Leonie! Ze is niet thuis deze week omdat ze op kamp is met groep 8 (tja dat heb je als je lerares bent). Dus ga even naar haar geweldige blog en feliciteer haar!


For this card I used a Bildmalarna stamp (owned by my mother). The sketch is from Friday Sketchers. I love it because it is so simple. The challenge at ABC Challenge is to make a summer card. Detail, I took the photo outside in the evening sun ;)

I also wanted to tell you that it is my sister Leonie's birthday this Wednesday the 24th! She is away this week on a schooltrip (she is a teacher) and she won't be home untill Friday. A long time

Kun je het geloven? Ik ben afgelopen weekend al begonnen met deze kaart. Maar soms heb ik gewoon geen zin om hem af te maken dus dan begin ik weer aan een nieuwe... Maar tja omdat de challenges een deadline hebben moest ik hem toch maar afmaken.
De sketch die ik gebruikt heb is van Friday Sketchers. De challenge van High Hopes is 'Lotsa circles'. Stamp with Fun daagt ons uit om stippen te gebruiken. En bij Our Creative Corner moet je border punches gebruiken. En dat zijn ze allemaal.


Boy, can you believe I started this card last weekend? Sometimes I just want to start a new one before I finish the first card. Well since the challenges have a time limit I had to finish it.

Scrapmagasinet

Mijn allereerste Scrapmagasinet kaart met een eigen stempel! Mijn moeder Annelies en zus Leonie hebben er al een aantal. Laatst heeft mijn moeder gewonnen met een challenge en mocht ik ook wat stempels uitzoeken. Dit is er eentje van! Grappig he?

Ik ben zo blij met mijn nieuwe Hero Arts stempels! De challenge van de Hero Arts Blog is om stempelen en die cutting te combineren. De vlinder is van een template van de Hero Arts blog. Vlinders is ook de uitdaging van A Spoonfull Of Sugar. De sketch die ik gebruikt heb is van Our Creative Corner. Juist deze stempel en druk papier hebben een rustige sketch nodig vind ik, perfect!


I'm so happy with my new Hero Arts stamps! The challenge at the Hero Arts Blog is to combine stamping and die cutting. I used the butterfly template which can be found at their blog. Welcome baby

Vrienden hebben een prachtige zoon gekregen en daar moest natuurlijk een kaart voor worden gemaakt! De challenge van Cute Card Thursday is nip and a punch. Veel van de dingen die ik gebruikt heb zijn gisteren gekocht bij de tweede hands stempel dag van Art Journey. Bijvoorbeeld de retired itty bitty background stampels van Stampin'Up. De Heidi Swapp stempels zijn nieuw ;) van Art Journey. De welcome baby die is ook tweede hands!


Friends of mine became the proud parents of a lovely babyboy! Naturaly I made a card for them. The challenge at Cute Card Thursday is Nip and a Punch. A lot of the things I used I bought yesterday at the second hand stamp day at Art Journey. For example I got the retired itty bitty background stamps from Stampin'Up. The Heidy Swapp stamps are new... ;) from Art Journey. The welcome baby die is also second hand!

Cupcake #69

I vind cupcakes heerlijk! En Taylor Vanbruggen's blog is ook geweldig. Ik wilde toch graag een keer meedoen aan haar TGIF cupcake challenge. Haar sketches zijn ook altijd simpel en strak. Ik heb het cupje gepaperpieced en glitter op de frosting gedaan. Alle randen heb ik geschuurd zodat er een wit randje ontstaat.


I love cupcakes! And I love Taylor Vanbruggen's blog! So I really wanted to play in her TGIF cupcakeday challenge. I love the fact that her sketches are alway simple. I paper pieced the paper cup and put glitter on the frosting. I've sanded all the edges for that white edge.

Struggle

Ik ben deze kaart begonnen aan de hand van de challenge van vorige week van Penny Black: 1,2,3. Maar op de een of andere manier lukte het niet. En toen was het alweer zaterdag en een nieuwe challenge van Penny Black: buttons galore. Dus heb ik de boel omgegooid en dit is het resultaat.


I started this card by last weeks Penny Black challenge: 1,2,3. But I just could not find the right composition etc, it was a real struggle. And then saturday came and there was a new Penny Black challenge: buttons galore..... Well I still used my 2 DP and changed the rest.

Sweet wishes

Ik heb eens een totaal andere kaart gemaakt. Ik kwam een kaart tegen in een Cards Only en vond hem zo leuk dat ik een soortgelijke kaart heb gemaakt. Natuurlijk is ie weer helemaal anders door ander papier en andere stempels enzo. Ik wil deze kaart laten meedoen met twee challenges die allebei het thema 'glitter' hebben deze keer: Dutch Dare Card Challenges en The Secret Crafter.


This time I tried something totaly different. I was inspired by a card I saw in the Cards Only magazine. I loved how simple it was. Well I used my version of stamps and gave it my own twist. I want to enter this card in two challenges who both have the 'glitter' theme as a challenge: Dutch Dare Card Challenges and The Secret Crafter.

A blue sky and a whiff of joy

Nog een kaartje die ik gisteren gemaakt heb. Maar het was al te donker voor de foto dus die kon ik pas vandaag maken. Ik heb deze keer de nieuwe WoJ stempel van Leonie gebruikt. Vorig jaar heb ik de zomerkit van Magnolia gekocht en deze keer zij dus de zomerkit van Whiff of Joy. Ik heb de sketch van Whiff of Joy gebruikt en de kleuren zijn geinspireerd op de mooie bloemen van Colour Create Challenge. Ik heb glitter op de blaadjes van de bloemen gedaan en dat is de uitdaging van The Secret Crafter.


Another card I made yesterday. But it was too dark to take a picture so I had to take it today. This time I used one of the new WoJ stamps from Leonie. Last year I bought the Magnolia summerkit and this time she bought the WoJ summerkit. I used the sketch from Whiff of Joy and the colours ar inspired by the beautifull flowers from the Colour Create Challenge. And I put some glitter on the flowers which is the challenge at The Secret Crafter.
