Well I’m back from London! We had a great time and the students were great. The weather was windy and a bit rainy but that didn’t stop us. We got to see all the highlights during a walk (Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus, Big Ben etc, did a lot of shopping (Harrods, Covent Garden), went to Chelsea Stadium, saw Les Miserables, did a few museums and walked a lot (and I do mean a lot). Our host family was great (thanks Jane!) and she liked the card I made her (see below).
And got a big surprise when I got back! I won the High Hopes Blog Candy from Katharina’s ! I’m so happy about that. My first High Hopes. Today I got a package with the new Basicgrey paper pads and I got some great ideas to make a few cards. So come back regularly to check them out.
Another surprise:
I’ve been nominated by Chrissy for a you make my day award! I’m so honoured! I just got back Friday night and decided to turn on the computer for a quick look and found out about the award. Well that certainly put a smile on my face. Thanks Chrissy for the nomination.

The next nominations are:
Leonie I know you know she is my sister but she definitely makes my day on a regular bases! We have a lot of card making sessions together and that’s so much fun.
Sandra
Inge
Tiets
Bernie
These ladies make such great cards, it’s a pleasure to take a look at their creations. And I get a lot of inspiration from them. Still learning every day!
