Wedding

Ik weet dat ik de laatste tijd niks heb gepost. Het was een beetje druk in mijn leven. Eerst een weekje Londen. Het is ook zo vervelend soms om docent te zijn. Gelukkig was het ook een geweldige week. Daarna was het mijn zus en vaders verjaardag in dezelfde week. En dan is het ook nog tentamenweek en dat betekend nakijken... Vrijdag gaat een collega van mij trouwen dus heb ik even een kaart gemaakt. Ik heb hem gemaakt volgens Basic Grey Challenges met het thema "Tecture".


I know I've been a bad blogger lately. It's just so extremely busy. First I went to London for a week. Boy do I love to be a teacher ;)
And when I came back it was my sister and my dads birthday in one week. This week I have an exam week at school. This friday a colleague is getting married. So I made this card. I made this card with the Basic Grey Challenges "Tecture". I did some dry embossing, used glitter and liquid pearls etc.
I used BG Porcelain paper, BG Granola buttons.

Birthday Girl

Eindelijk is het gelukt om een kaart af te maken! Het heeft me een paar avonden gekost maar ik vind hem wel goed gelukt. Het enige nadeel is dat ik de foto ook 's avonds moest maken dus die ziet er niet echt geweldig uit...
De sketch die ik gebruikt heb is van Friday Sketchers en de kleuren zijn geinspireerd van de foto van Colour Create Challenge.



Finaly I made a card! It took me a few evenings but I do am happy with the result. The only thing is that I had to take the picture in the evening so it is pretty bad, but I wanted to post is tonight.
The sketch I used is from Friday Sketchers and the colour combo was inspired from the picture at Colour Create Challenge.

Blogoversary

It's my blogoversary!!
I had a long long day today at work. I'm home finaly. It's 22.37..... Had a parent-teacher evening. The meetings were fine. Had a diner with some collegueas witch was great. So I've been so busy no card to show yet. I did have a package yesterday with some yummy papers and other goodies. So this weekend I will get stamping!

Spring

Signs of Spring is de uitdaging bij Cute Card Thursday. Nou ziet het er nog niet echt uit als lente als ik naar buiten kijk. Maar als je goed kijkt zie je inderdaad de eerste tekenen al. De puntjes van de bloembollen komen al boven de grond. Je moet groen en geel gebruiken als voornaamste kleuren op je kaart bij Dutch Dare Card Challenge. Die kleuren zijn toch ook wel echte lente kleuren! De sketch die ik gebruikt heb is van A Spoonfull Of Sugar. Ik vind vooral de scene goed gelukt. Elke keer ben ik toch weer bang dat ik het verknal met het maskeren.


Signs of spring is the challenge at Cute Card Thursday. Well spring is still far away if I look outside. But if you look closely you can see the early signs indeed. Like the tips of the daffodils and crocus. You had to use green and yellow as main colours at Dutch Dare Card Challenge. Those colours do represent spring, don't they? The sketch I used is from A Spoonfull Of Sugar. I really like how the little scene turned out. Every time I try this I hope I will not ruin it.

Again I used my ColorBox to colour the image and used Twinkling H2Os to make the details. The swirl is from Autumn Leaves. DP and brad are BasicGrey, Urban Prairie. And last but not least THREE Magnolia stamps!

Maar EEN stuk design papier mag je gebruiken bij de challenge van The Sugar Bowl. Ik moet toegeven dat ik dat een moeilijke uitdaging vind. Maar ik ben best tevreden met het resultaat. Ik heb weer Twinkling H2Os gebruikt. Ik ben nog aan het leren hoe het moet maar ik vind het wel leuk hoe het eruit komt te zien.


Only ONE piece of patterned design paper is the challenge at The Sugar Bowl. That's a pretty difficult challenge for me. But I must say I'm quite satisfied with the result. Again I used Twinkling H2Os. I'm still learning but I like the way it turns out.

Whiff of Joy

Mijn eerste kaart met een Whiff of Joy! Ik vind ze echt geweldig, maar helaas heb ik er nog geen een. Maar mijn zus wel! Ik heb de kaart gemaakt met de sketch van Katharina's. Die moet je gebruiken voor de GD call van Whiff of Joy challenges. Het papier etc dat ik gebruikt heb is van het pakketje dat ik een paar weken geleden gewonnen heb bij Dutch Dare Card Challenge. Het is allemaal van Card Art, het merk is Crate Paper. Ik heb deze keer ook Twinkling H2Os gebruikt en een Spica glitter pen. Die heb ik deze week gekocht en het is jammer dat je die details niet goed ziet op de foto.


My first card with a Whiff of Joy ! I so love these stamps, but unfortunately I don't own one yet. But my sis does!
I made this card using Katharina's sketch she made for the Whiff of Joy GD call.

The papers and embellishments I used is from the package I won a couple of weeks ago at Dutch Dare Card Challenge. It's al from Card Art, the brand is Crate Paper.

I also used Twinkling H2Os and a Spica glitter pen I bought recently. Unfortunately you can not see those details in the picture.

High Hopes heeft een DT call! Ik vind High Hopes stempels geweldig. Ze zijn de eerste stempels die ik gewonnen heb met een challenge van Katharina. Ik vind het ook erg leuk dat er van die grappige teksten bij horen. Je kaart is dan helemaal af. Ik denk dat je wel begrijpt dat ik het geweldig zou vinden om bij het DT te horen. Het gaat om een termijn van drie maanden van april tm juni. Wat je moet doen is een kaart maken met een sketch van Katharina


High Hopes has a DT call! I love High Hopes stamps. They are my first stamps I won in a challenge from Katharina. I especially like the sentiments they have, you can really make a special card with them. So I guess you understand I would love to be on the DT! The term will run from April to June. The thing you had to do is make a card with a sketch from Katharina.
