It's time to introduce to you the newest addition to our DT! We had sooooo many entries so it was hard but I'm sure you will all agree we have chosen very talented ladies.

Congratulations!

It's my parents 36th Wedding Anniversary today! So I had to make a sweet card for them. I kept it very natural which is the challenge at ABC Challenge . The challenge at Cute Card Thursday is hearts & flowers.

DT BGC: Hearts

It's amazing how many people participated in the last Basic Grey Challenges. Lots of people also aplied for the DT position so we have a difficult task to go through all of them.
This Saturday we have another challenge for you!

I've been so busy that I hardly could find the time to do my DT duties. So I only had about half an hour to make a card. It turned out very simple. Not quite pleased with it. I used the Mojo Monday sketch I liked that one. But it did go wrong when I aplied some liquid pearls in the corners.... I took it of and had to put something else, so it became the rhinestones.

DT BGC: Flower Power

The theme this time at Basic Grey Challenges is:

I used last weeks sketch from Our Creative Corner to make the card. I made faux stitches around the card. I really like the Curio line by BG! I've made two cards so far but the look is totally differnt. I found some new sentiment stamps from Kaisercraft and love the way they are perfect for cards.

I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday to make this card. A couple of months ago I bought my first distress inks and I used them to make this card seem more old and to tone the colours down. Its the first time I've used this Tilda, doesn't she look cute?

Well here are mine in a random order:


I love this Magnolia couple. It really was perfect this year because iceskating (a national sport in the Netherlands) was being done a lot because of the cold weather.

This Hero Arts stamps is not being used enough I think.

I love the Magnolia paper and the colours of this card.

My first card using this HouseMouse stamp. I think this card was my favourite this year!

I really like the way the colouring worked on this High Hopes elephant, I used Derwent pencils (only once this year..)

Snow

There has been a lot of snow lately over here. And that is not the average winter in the Netherlands. So I guess I'm feeling a little strange and kinda stucked in the house. I can walk into town, but that is not really exciting or go to my sister so that's what I did and we had a whole craft day. This is one of the cards I made! I used the Friday Sketchers sketch for it.


I used my new House Mouse stamp and my new BasicGrey papers: Curio for it. Also my new Nellie Snellen dies got used for the first time! So lots of new stash on this card.

Raise your glass

It's almost the end of the year! I needed to make some happy new year cards for those I forgot to send a Chrismas card to but did get one from.
I chose the Just Magnolia sketch for it. Since it is still a busy time I kept it simple which is the challenge at ABC Challenge and the challenge at Papertake is 'anything goes'!
