Sugar

Omdat het een vrije dag is, hebben Leonie en ik besloten dat het tijd was om weer eens een stempeldag te houden. Ik heb dus al mijn spullen gepakt, nouja niet alles, en naar haar huis gereden. Ik vond dat het wel weer eens tijd werd om een Sugar Nellie stempel te gebruiken. Ik heb daar niet veel van en Leonie wel. De sketch is van The Sugar Bowl en je moet parels gebruiken als je wilt winnen.


Since we have a day off, Leonie and I decided it was time for another stamp day! So I packed all my stuff (well not everything that wouldn't fit the table LOL) and drove to her house. I thought it was time for a Sugar Nellie challenge again. I don't have a lot of SN stamps, but Leonie does. The sketch is the challenge at The Sugar Bowl and you need to use pearls if you want to win.

Scrap Online

Dit is de eerste keer dat ik mee heb gedaan met de scrap online van Tiets. Dat was eens een keer wat anders! En ik moest ondertussen ook nog Greys Anatomy kijken....
De uitdaging van Daring Cardmakers is om een muziek geinspireerde kaart te maken. Ik moest gelijk denken aan Edwin op de gitaar. Die heb ik een hele tijd niet gebruikt.


This is the first time I've entered the scrap online by Tiets. It was a totally different experience! But I did have fun. It took some extra challenge because Greys Anatomy was also on..... LOL
The challenge at Daring Cardmakers is to design a card which is 'Musically inspired'. I immediately thought of my Edwin playing the guitar. I haven't used that one in a while!

Clear

Nadat ik die geweldige doorzichtige kaarten zag bij Double Dutch Challenges, wist ik dat ik er eentje wilde maken! Bij Stamp Something moest je een roze verjaardagskaart maken. Ik vind roze echt leuk! En ik heb weer een brad gebruikt en dat is nog steeds de uitdaging van Secret Crafter.


After taking a look at those wonderfull clear cards at the Double Dutch Challenges I knew I had to make one! At Stamp Something you had to make a pink birtday card. I love pink! And again I used a brad which is the challenge at Secret Crafter.

The text stamp I used is a My Sentiments Exactly.
The swirl stamp is from Autumn Leaves.
Brad is Basic Grey. I used white stazon ink for the swirls and black Stazon for the sentiment.

Mothersday

Deze keer heb ik 4 challenges gecombineerd! Morgen is het moederdag dus deze kaart is voor haar.
De challenge van Dutch Dare Card Challenge is om een moedersdag kaart te maken.
De sketch die ik gebruikt heb is van Sketch Saturday.
De kleurencombinatie is geinspireerd van de Penny Black challenge blog. De uitdaging is de kleuren zwart, wit en een andere kleur te gebruiken.
De uitdaging van Secret Crafter is om brads of eyelets te gebruiken. Die heb ik gebruikt met de bloemen.

The colour combo is inspired by the Penny Black challenge blog. The challenge is to use Black, White + 1 Other colour. I guess I cheated with the image.
The challenge at Secret Crafter is to use brads or eyelets. Well I used some brads in the flowers.

Queensday

Het is bijna Koninginnedag! Ik vond deze kaart er wel qua kleur en voedsel bij passen toch?
De sketch is van Friday Sketchers. De kleurencombo is de challenge van Colour create.
Our Creative Corner heeft ook een kleurencombo challenge. Nou oranje is natuurlijk wel een must deze dagen!


On April 30th it is Queensday in the Netherlands. It is a huge party in the entire country! The main colour is orange and lots of children sell cupcakes at the market.
So this card is my tribute!

Our Creative Corner also has a colour challenge. You can choose your own favourite colour combo. Well you can imagine that these days orange is a must around here! I'm certainly happy how it turned out!

See the flowers smiling

Ik weet dat ik een slechte blogger ben de laatste tijd, maar mijn nieuwe huis gaat even voor nu. Maar ik heb toch tijd gevonden om een kaart te maken. De sketch is van Basic Grey Challenges. De challenge van Stamp Something is showers or flowers. Nou de bloemen zitten op de kaart en de regen is voldoende aanwezig buiten!!!

It has been raining all day today and I do need to get out to the store :( No spring feeling over here right now! The challenge at Stamp Something is flowers or showers. Hugs

Ik heb een geweldige Penny Black stempel set gekocht op het Art Specially event. Ik vind ze echt geweldig! Ik heb deze kaart gemaakt met de Friday Sketchers sketch. De kleuren zijn roze en chocolade en dat is de uitdaging van Cute Card Thursday! De Penny Black uitdaging is om een kado te maken. Sinds ik ben begonnen met kaarten maken ben ik ze ook gaan sturen naar vrienden, soms zomaar zonder reden. Ik krijg dan echt de leukste reacties. Ik vind dus dat een kaart ook een kado kan zijn toch? ;)


I bought a great Penny Black stamp set at the Art Specially event. I soooo love them! I made this card using the Friday Sketchers sketch. I used the colours pink and chocolate which are the challenge at Cute Card Thursday! The Penny Black challenge is to make a gift. Well, since I started making cards I started sending cards to my friends even when there is no occasion. And I get the most wonderfull reactions about it! So I guess even a handmade card is considered a gift. ;)
By the way I used some plastic for the 'space' between the pink papers.

Easter baby

Deze paaszondag is mijn nichtje bevallen van haar eerste zoon! Twee weken te vroeg dus ik had geen kaart of kado klaar. Ik wist al dat het een jongen ging worden en was dus van plan om baby kaartjes van te voren te maken. Er komen nog een heleboel baby's aan de komende maanden!
Ik heb een aantal verschillende figuren gebruikt voor deze kaart en dat is ook de uitdaging bij Stamp Something


This Easter Sunday my cousin gave birth to her baby son! 2 weeks to soon so I didn't had a present and a card ready. Since I already new it was going to be a boy I planned on making some baby cards in advance. There are a lot of baby's coming in the next couple of months.
I used some different shapes for this card which is the challenge at Stamp Something this week.
