Sugar

Creative Saturday

Gisteren ben ik naar mijn zus gegaan en wat waren wij creatief! Ik heb 3 kaarten gemaakt en tussendoor ook nog de proefwerken nagekeken. Erg productief dagje dus.
De eerste kaart is een sketch van Friday Sketchers. Ik vond hem best moeilijk maar het is gelukt. Het is niet erg goed te zien op de foto, maar het is bruin en roze. Bij Caardvarks is de challenge Chocolate (daar kan ik echt geen genoeg van krijgen).

Yesterday I went to my sisters house and boy did we get creative! I managed to make 3 cards and grade some papers. Very productive.
The first card is a sketch from Friday Sketchers. It's hard to see but the colours are brown and pink. The challenge at Caardvarks is Chocolate (my favorite).

De volgende kaart is gemaakt met de sketch van Sketch Saturday. Vorig weekend zijn Leonie en ik naar de Kreadoe geweest en daar heb ik weer lekker veel BasicGrey papier ingeslaan. Bij BasicGrey Challenges moet je een jongenskaart maken. Daarom heb ik Edwin gebruikt uit de nieuwe winterkit van Magnolia. Hmm ik heb alleen maar de winterkit gebruikt en al mijn nieuwe papieren zie ik nu...

Leonie and I went to Kreadoe and I bought a lot of new BasicGrey papers! I really love those. I only used BG this weekend on my cards. You had to make a boys card at BasicGrey Challenges so I used Edwin from the new winterkit by Magnolia. I guess I only used new stuff this weekend...

Child

Ik heb het erg druk de laatste tijd en ik heb al een tijd geen internet dus het bloggen ging even niet. Ik ben dus nu even bij m'n zus.
De worshops op school gaan trouwens geweldig. 40 meiden hebben zich opgegeven.Ze zijn zo enthousiast! Binnenkort zal ik wat foto's plubliceren.
Deze kaart heb ik als voorbeeldkaart gemaakt. En het past precies bij de challenge van a Spoon full of Sugar!


Have I been busy lately! Internet is not working at my house so I was not able to blog a lot. (I'm at my sister's house now.
By the way the workshops at school are doing very well! 40 girls applied for it. So I split them up in 2 groups. I had 2 workshops already and it was just crazy! They were very enthousiastic. I'll post some pics soon.
This card is a card I made for the workshop it fits the challenge at a Spoon full of Sugar perfectly!

Ismaki # 36 Stars

Eindelijk weer eens een Ismaki sketch gebruikt in een kaart! De sketch is vrij simpel, maar met Elzybells stempels vind ik dat vaak ook het mooist. Bij Cute Card Thursday is de uitdaging om sterren te gebruiken. Nou de ster is wel heel belangrijk in dit plaatje! Ik zag een nieuwe techniek op Our Creative Corner: Vintage Values. Ik vond het wel een beetje eng om te doen, maar ik heb 2 kleuren blauw en 2 kleuren groen gebruikt in deze kaart. Ik vind het erg mooi geworden en ga dit echt vaker doen!


Finaly an Ismaki sketch used in a card! It is a simple sketch but because the Elzybells stamps is so beautiful I prefer a simple sketch. On Cute Card Thursday the challenge is to use stars in your work. Well the star is a very important part of this image. I saw a new technique called Vintage Values on Our Creative Corner. I still was a bit scared to use the technique but I did use two shades of blue and two shades of green on the card. I really love how it turned out! I will certainly do this more in the future!

Halloween???

Veel blogs zoals Papertake en A Spoon full of Sugar hebben op dit moment Halloween als thema. Tja wat moet je daar nu mee in Nederland??? Ik heb in ieder geval geen Halloween stempels. Dit is het beste wat ik er van kon maken....
De sketch is van Stamp Something. Je kunt daar een van die geweldige WoJ stempels winnen!


A lot of blogs like Papertake and A Spoon full of Sugar are challenging to make a Halloween card. We don't celebrate Halloween in the Netherlands and because so I don't own any Haloween stamps. This is as close as I can get for a Halloween card.....

Oktober is de borstkankermaand. Het is erg belangrijk dat we met zijn allen meer bewust worden van deze ziekte en van het feit dat we hier wat aan kunnen doen! Steun de acties die worden gehouden. Think Pink!
Magnolia heeft een pink collectie waarvan elke verkochte Tilda een donatie wordt gedaan aan het borstkanker fonds.
Nikki heeft 30,000 bezoekers op haar blog en grijpt deze gelegenheid aan om ook aandacht te besteden aan borstkanker.











October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It is very important to think about this for even a second. Think Pink!
