BG DT: Be Charming

 zaterdag 30 april 2011

Today is a great day in the Netherlands, we call it Koninginnedag (Queensday).
But this year I won't be part of the celebrations because my sisters (Leonie and Berniek) and I are going to London!!
I've been looking forward to this trip for a long time and finally it is here!
So right after Will and Kate are done celebrating and hopefully London has come back to its senses we are going to do lots of sightseeing, shopping and of course catch a musical.

But before I leave let me tell you about our new challenge over at Basic Grey Challenges

Be Charming

So we want to see a charm on your creation.

I used Marjolaine paper pad for this card. Somehow the picture is not really focussed and also the blue is more grey-blue in reality.

Stamp: Country Garden Sugar Nellie, sentiment
Paper: BasicGrey Marjolaine paper pad
Other: lots of pearls, ribbon, Twinling H2O's, charm, twine

Today belongs to you

 maandag 11 april 2011

I managed to find some time in the evening to make this card. The only thing is when to take a picture! So it took me some days but here it is.
I used the sketch from Truly Crumptious. I also want to enter this card to the
Dutch Dare Card Challenge where the challenge is Spring.

I used my new seambinding ribbon for it and my new sentiments from Inkadinkado.
I cant't wait untill I will finaly be able to have a day all to myself and not have to study or clean the house or something like that. sigh...

Stamp: In a Nutshell by House Mouse, sentiment Inkadinkado
Paper: Portrait Collection by Crate Paper
Other: seambinding, pearl, Twinkling H2O's, rhinestones, NellieSnellen die, borderpunch

BGC DT: Multifold

 zaterdag 2 april 2011

Hi everybody. Today is going to be a very warm day in the Netherlands for this time of the year. The promise is around 20C! I will let you know what it was.

The challenge at Basic Grey Challenges is to make a:

MULTIFOLD CARD

Well my multifold card history is very, well I can't even remember one. So I had a hard time with this challenge. I ended up watching youtube movies and chose this style. I have no idea what it's called. The card is a birthday card I made for my dad. So far less decoration, mostly buttons.
Unfortunatly the pictures didn't came out well, the card is better irl.
I also decorated the inside but that's hard to see on the pic.

So that's my card for this challenge. I do hope you have seen all the amazing creations made by the BGC DT, you can see lots of different folds!
And please join us and make a multifold card.

Stamp: Edwin by Magnolia
Paper: Pyrus by BasicGrey
Other: lots of BasicGrey buttons, twine, Spellbinders die, liquid pearls
